    This CD was originally released in and this version was remastered in with 5 extra tracks. "Before I Forget" shows the versatility of Jon Lord in his solo work. It's not the same tone as the Deep Purple. It's quieter and taken up from classic tracks. It is valid for those who like a good keyboard with the tone of rock and diversities aside/5(43).

    Digitally remastered and expanded edition. Before I Forget was originally released on Harvest Records in June , when Jon Lord was moonlighting from tinkling the ivories in Whitesnake. Originally making his mark with the Artwoods and then playing keyboards with Deep Purple, Lord also enjoyed a series of significant side projects/5(39).

    1st edition on Compact Disc. 1 to 8 are the tracks from the original album, which is released as LP in June (Harvest SHSP ), track 9 is the non-album-track from the 7"-single "Bach Onto This" (released on Harvest HAR in May ). Tracks 10 to 12 are previously unissued tracks from the album sessions/5(6).

    I did forget all about the album, apart from the longing to hear it again and the image on the cover. I’m now 31 and still play the organ and keyboards. Tonight I remembered the name. “before I forget”. I’ve managed to source a copy which is fantastic and much as I remember it. Listening to this album now my own music makes more sense.

    Mar 28,  · progshine Jul 21 Before I Forget () is the first Jon Lord's album in the 80's and his fouth solo album. Here he's not trying to be as much as a classical composer like in the previous albums (and later albums too). He's more into playing the same music as he was in Whitesnake, the difference is, of course, many great keyboards/5(5).
